If anything, it’ll save you a lot of time. As if that wasn’t great enough, they’re also super versatile. You can use them to clean hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, you name it. And depending on what you get, you might not even need to buy refills! You can just use whatever cleaner you have at home.

Bellababy is a small company that you can find on Amazon. Aside from mops, they also sell baby products such as sell breast pumps, milk powder, wet wipes, and more, all of which are available from their online store.

Product Description

The Bellababy Spray Mop can be used on almost all surfaces including tile, vinyl, laminate, and hardwood. Easy to use, it comes with a trigger on the handle that will dispense cleaner in the form of a mist whenever it’s pressed. Not only that, but the mop head rotates 360 degrees so you can easily reach into corners and other hard-to-clean areas. The best part? You can use whatever cleaning solution you want. Just add it to the water bottle and you’re good to go.

What’s In the Box?

Assembly: Connect the handle pieces together (the one with the trigger goes on the top); you will have to press the white button on the sides to attach them. Next, insert the water bottle into the blue base. Once you’ve done that, attach the lower end of the pole to the mop base. Finally, attach a mop pad and you’re done.

As far as the spray mop goes, it’s made up of three poles, the top of which contains the trigger. Both the mop head and water tank are located at the bottom. There’s also a foam handle grip at the center for your convenience.

Next, you’ve got the water bottle, which can be removed from the base for easy refilling. To use it, fill it up with water and add two teaspoons of your preferred cleaning solution. If you want, you can also use white vinegar (avoid other highly acidic liquids).

Last but not least, it comes with four reusable mop pads, which honestly, should last you a while. Made of high-quality microfiber, they’re soft, absorbent, and easy to clean as you can just throw them in the washer when you’re done. They’re easy to attach too as they stick onto the mop head like velcro.

Build Quality

Spray mops vary when it comes to quality. That is, not all of them are built to last. Given that, you want to do your research before bringing one home. What do you want to look for? A couple of things. For starters, aluminum poles are always better than plastic poles (stainless steel is also a good option). Second of all, check the mop pads. They should be a decent thickness, otherwise, they won’t be able to absorb the liquid that comes out from the nozzle.

How Well Built Is the Bellabay Spray Mop?

The Bellababy Spray Mop is fairly well built as far as spray mops go. For one thing, it does have a sturdy aluminum pole, which attaches to the other plastic parts (e.g. handle, mop base). The mop pads are also a decent thickness. You might not be able to wipe away huge spills with them but they will be enough for regular wet mopping. And as long as you hang them dry, they won’t dry or distort in shape.

Pros of the Bellababy Spray Mop

Small and Lightweight: The Bellababy Spray Mop is very lightweight, even with a full water bottle. Also, its size means that you won’t need a lot of space to store it. For example, you can easily keep it in a small closet.

Affordable:  The spray mop is quite affordable (<$30) and comes with four microfiber pads, which are nice to have.

Rotating Head: The mop head rotates 360 degrees, as mentioned earlier. In other words, you can easily slip it into corners and behind furniture.

You Can Use Any Cleaner: You can use pretty much use any cleaner with the spray mop as long as it’s not super acidic. This means that you won’t have to spend money on another product like the Swiffer.

Environmentally-Friendly: The spray mop uses washable pads so you won’t have to worry about filling the trash with disposables. And since you can use any cleaner you like, you won’t have to rely on chemicals.

Extra Window Cleaner: The mop comes with an extra head that contains a soft cloth and squeegee so it’s not just for the floor—you can also use it to clean your windows.

A Few Drawbacks

As expected, however, it does have a few drawbacks, which we’ll be outlining in this section.

Quality Issues With the Bottle

The way the water bottle is designed, there’s a small ball that attaches to the tube, which allows the cleaning solution to come out of the nozzle. The problem, however, is that this ball can come off and if that happens, the sprayer won’t work anymore. Also, several people have said in their reviews that their bottle started to leak after a while.

The Window Attachment Doesn’t Work That Well

The window squeegee is nice to have but it doesn’t work all that well, unfortunately. Yes, it’ll remove dirt and dust from the surface but it’ll also leave behind lines on the glass.

Small Water Bottle

The water bottle on the spray mop is quite small so you will have to refill it with water and cleaner as you go. In fact, you might have to refill it more than once depending on the size of the room that you’re mopping.

Lack of Customer Service 

Unfortunately, there’s no reliable way to contact the seller if there are any problems with the mop. You can get a refund through Amazon within 30 days, though, but after that, you’re out of luck if anything happens.

Trigger Can Stop Working 

After a while, the trigger on the handle can stop working and if that happens you won’t be able to dispense liquid out of the mop anymore. Fortunately, that doesn’t seem to be an issue with all units.

The Mop Is On the Short Side 

The mop itself isn’t very tall. With the mop head flat on the ground, it measures approximately 47” so it might not be a good option for taller individuals as you will have to bend over to clean, which isn’t great for your back.

How Well Does It Clean?

The Bellababy Spray Mop does a decent job when it works. The mist covers a wide area and the mop pad does a good job of wiping the surface while picking up debris at the same time. The fact that the mop head rotates 360 degrees also makes it easy to clean around and behind corners, etc. Keep in mind, however, that it’s not designed to get rid of large particles such as pet hair. For things like that, you’ll want to get out the vacuum.

The window squeegee, however, is a different story. Like we mentioned in the previous section, it isn’t very effective so if that’s what you’re after, you might want to look for something else.

Cost and Pricing Information

The Bellababy Spray Mop and Glass Wiper retails for $25, making it a mid-priced option. Keep in mind, however, that it does include four reusable pads, which is more than what they usually come with. Also, since it’s $25, it qualifies for free shipping on Amazon without any additional purchase.

Like most small brands, however, their mop pads can be difficult to replace. In fact, they don’t offer refills as far as we can tell. The good news is that you can use other pads as long as the sizing matches up (they measure around 5.5” x 16”).
