Not only will it save you time, but it’ll also make your house cleaner. That way, you won’t have to worry about exposing your family to allergens. What’s more, is that they’re much smaller than a conventional vacuum. In other words, they’ll be able to clean tight areas much better. On top of that, it won’t take up much space at all!

The Amrobt Vacuum Mop
Amrobt is a relatively new company that specializes in smart home appliances. Founded in 2019, they offer a couple of robot cleaners including the Amrobt 350 and 350 Pro, both of which you can purchase from Amazon. As far as we can tell, that’s the only place where you can get their products at this moment.
Product Description
The Amrobt vacuum mop allows you to mop and vacuum simultaneously. Equipped with a 2600mAh lithium battery, it can run for up to 120 minutes with a single charge. You won’t have to worry about it falling down stairs either as it comes with anti-drop sensors. As far as controls go, it comes with a mobile app that you can use to schedule, customize, and monitor cleaning sessions. If you want, you can even connect it to Amazon Alexa.
What’s Inside the Box?
Here’s a breakdown of everything you’ll get with the Amrobot vacuum mop:

In terms of the main unit, it consists of two main parts—the dust bin and water tank. The former comes with a high-efficiency filter (you can clean it with the provided cleaning brush) while the latter is designed to be used with the cleaning cloth. This goes without saying, but you’ll also have to fill the tank up with water before using the mopping function.
The robot vacuum comes with a charging dock that you’ll be using to charge the Amrobt. To use it, plug it into a wall outlet with the adapter. Make sure that there’s nothing in front of or beside the docking station, otherwise, it won’t be able to dock properly.
Then there’s the remote control (batteries are not included). You can use it to start the device, choose a cleaning mode, or return it to base. There are also directional buttons that you can use to move the robot manually if that’s something that you want to do.
As for the brushes, there are two main types—there’s the main brush, which goes underneath the robot, and the side brushes that go on the side. While they only give you one of the main brush, you’ll get four of the side brushes so you’ll have two extras.
Finally, there’s the mopping cloth, which you’ll have to attach to the backside of the water tank (there are sticky strips on the robot so all you’ll have to do is align them up).
Smart Features
Automatic Charging
The Amrobot will automatically return to the charging station when the battery is low. In other words, you won’t have to worry about it “dying” somewhere while it’s cleaning. Keep in mind, however, that it won’t resume its previous job after charging.
Anti-Drop and Anti-Collision Sensor Technology
The robot vacuum features anti-drop and anti-collision sensors that prevent it from unnecessary crashes and drops. If anything, that makes it suitable for multi-leveled homes.
Mobile App Control
The Amrobot is WiFi-enabled and can be controlled remotely via a mobile app. All you have to do is sync it via WiFi. From there, you can use it to customize, monitor, or schedule cleaning sessions via your phone.
Compatible With Amazon Alexa
The robot vacuum can be used with Amazon Alexa. Simply sync them with the app and you’ll be able to control it via voice commands. For example, you can tell it to “turn on Amrobt cleaner.”
A Few Drawbacks
The Amrobot vacuum mop does have a few drawbacks, which we’ll be discussing below.
Does Not Work Well On Carpets
The Amrobot does not do well with carpet, even if it’s low-pile. It will get stuck and when that happens, you’ll have to manually free it, otherwise, it’ll remain there until the battery dies. (The same thing goes for rugs)
No Mapping Feature
It does not come with a mapping feature. In other words, it won’t “know” where it has to go. As a result, it’ll clean in a random pattern, which means that it might skip over some areas. At the same time, it might go over some areas again and again.
The Dust Bin Is Very Small
The dust bin isn’t very large. If you have any type of pet, you’ll have to empty it constantly, which can get annoying quickly.
Mopping Feature Could Be Better
This goes for most robot cleaners but the mopping feature isn’t all that effective. If anything, it’ll wet the floor rather than mop the floor. After all, all it does is drag a damp cloth around. In other words, don’t expect it to get rid of any dried messes that are on the ground.
Hair Gets Caught Easily
Hair can easily get wrapped around the main brush. When that happens, the robot will stop what its doing until you cut it off. As it is, it can also happen with pet fur.
It Can Get Stuck Under Furniture
The Amrobot has a bulkier build, which means that it can get stuck underneath furniture (e.g. sofas, beds, etc). Unfortunately, it won’t tell you when this happens so you will have to figure it out yourself.
The App Isn’t the Best
The mobile app works, however, it’s not the easiest to use. For one thing, many people have experienced trouble with the setup process. Not only that, but the app has a habit of disconnecting from the device after a few uses, which means that you have to resync it constantly.
It Can Have Trouble Going Home
The Amrobot can have trouble returning to the docking station. Even when it does find it, there’s a chance that it won’t charge due to improper alignment with the metal attachments on the charger’s base.
Replacement Parts Are Hard to Find
Replacement parts aren’t exactly easy to find. For one thing, Amrobot does not offer them via their shop. There are third party options available, however, it’s hard to tell whether or not they’re compatible with the device.
It’s Rather Loud
The Amrobot is fairly loud—you’ll definitely be able to hear it when it’s running.
How to Use the Amrobt Vacuum Mop
Start by plugging the charging dock. Place it against a wall on a hard level surface and make sure that there’s nothing in front or on the side of the station.
Next, install the side brushes. Simply press them into the slots until they click. From there, you can place the unit onto the charging dock. Make sure that the metal charging contacts match up with those underneath the robot. You should hear a series of tones once it begins charging.
Once the robot is fully charged, you can wake it up by pressing the power button. To start a cleaning cycle, press the button again. Alternatively, you can control it with the mobile app or remote control. There are three cleaning modes that you can choose from—spot cleaning, zigzag cleaning, and edge cleaning.
Regular Maintenance
HEPA Filter: Has to be cleaned once a week (twice if you have pets). Replace every 2 months.
Main Brush: Clean once every 3-4 months with the cleaning tool and replace every 6-12 months.
Dust Bin and Water Tanks: Both have to be cleaned after each use.
Cliff Sensors: The cliff sensors should be wiped with a clean, dry cloth every month.
Mop Cloth: The mop cloth should be washed after each use—you can either wash it by hand or throw it in the washing machine.
Cost and Pricing Information
The Amrobot vacuum mop retails for $149.99. From time to time, however, it does go on sale. In fact, it’s currently priced at $136.99 as we speak. Shipping is also free so you won’t have to be pay for anything other than taxes.
In terms of spare parts, they’re not the easiest to come by as we mentioned earlier. The good news is that there are third party replacements that you can use—you just have to make sure that they’re compatible with this particular model.
